Our Product

ScoutDog Golf App is an odds calculator and bet tracker for people who play and bet on golf. A common bet among golfers is for a player to get paid $5 by the other players when that player makes a birdie. The problem with this type of bet is that all putts are rewarded the same $5, whether it's a 1 inch or 30 foot putt and regardless of the player's skill level.

ScoutDog allows you to increase the stakes and add a fun variation to this bet. When given a birdie opportunity, the player can pace off their putt from the ball to the hole and estimate the total length of the putt with 1 pace equaling roughly 3 feet. Using our calculator, the player can set their current golf handicap and the total distance of the putt. The calculator will tell the player what their make percentage is for that putt and give them a betting odds for that putt.

For example, a player named Del has a birdie opportunity. He paces his putt off from the hole to his ball and it is 5 paces so he knows the putt is roughly 15 feet. Del uses our app and sets the calculator to 15 feet. He is currently a 12 handicap in golf so he sets the app to 12. The app then uses its proprietary database to calculate the make percentage for a 12 handicap at 15 feet. In this case, the make percentage is 25% or 1 in 4 chances of making the putt. The betting odds now increase 4x or +400 in betting vernacular thus making a $5 birdie putt now worth $20. ScoutDog takes into account the person's handicap (or skill level) and the distance of the putt to calculate the betting stakes.

If the player misses the putt, nothing happens. It is a zero-loss bet so only wins get paid out. If no one makes a birdie, then no bets are recorded and no money exchanges hands. There is no need for players or Scoutdog to hold any money in advance.

If the player makes the putt, then the player can record their name and bet in the app. At the end of the round, players can square up their bets individually based on all the bets that have been recorded throughout the round. Players cannot square up bets between each other through the app. Scoutdog does not hold or exchange money in any way. Scoutdog itself is not a gambling app and you cannot win money from Scoutdog.

It is strictly an odds calculator and bet tracker.

This app has one universal function that can be valuable to all golfers. A golfer of any handicap can pace off any length putt and determine their make percentage for that putt. This information can be valuable to help golfers improve their practice whether they are betting or not. This application can also be used for players playing games on the practice green as a fun way to improve. And it can be used on the golf course as a way to even the betting stakes among different handicaps and increase the overall stakes.

Scoutdog does not provide traditional rewards, like points or money, through the app. It only provides a way to track putts and bets. However, we believe that every birdie putt is a story. Wins are a running list of great memories and our app allows our users to recall and share their historic moments. We hope that our app adds to people's enjoyment of golf and hope that it can help grow the game.

The only reward that we offer is that we give players a platform to share their best stories with the hope of being featured on our social media accounts. We hope to build a social media following of people who have used our app, made birdies, cashed out bets, and shared their story. We think that there are some legendary stories to be told!
